Atomic Orange...

OK, I am having my painter paint some stuff in my engine bay before the M&G and some of the pieces would quite elaborate and time consuming and involve the current red color of the car right now. (click sig pictures to see my car.)

I am having some thoughts and am wanting to paint my car Atomic Orange (C6 Vette Color) and am thinking to be nice, that I shouldn't go elaborate and have him redo all of it when/if I change the color of my car.

Here are some pictures of the color. The ZR1 is that actual color and the Trans Am is a Photoshop I did to show kind of what I would do.

It simply is a stunning color on an fbody.

I ran into a guy in saginaw that had his painted in Atomic Orange. LT1 camaro.

And it looked damn good! Told him about Mifbody and he never joined!

Easily blows sunset orange out of the water.

If I could have any other color on my camaro as of right now. It would be AO

I voted to keep it simple right now, but eventually change the color. That color looks killer!!

But it you do a Gloss Black, you really can't go wrong. (engine bay parts)

Thanks guys, I really love the color too! I wouldn't be painting it until this winter so that I can enjoy it this summer. Also so that we don't rush the body prep and paint work so that it comes out flawlessly! I've seen it on a couple corvettes in person and think it is absolutely an amazing color. I have always wanted a orange car but could never find the right color, hugger orange is to orange and SOM is to red. Also I would definitely be painting the engine black as I think that looks awesome when done right.

I also will put the original up of the bird so you can see the difference between SOM and AO.
