  • Interior coming along........

So here are some pictures to show the update on my interior.....bad quality=camera phone. Input, suggestions, comments or concerns:

Here is the water temp and oil temp I put in my vents, they fit PERFECTLY and look awesome

A/F ratio on the left, and an empty pod...on the rigt we have a 5" Tach, no shiftlight (plan on getting one)

And here is the whole shot. (leaning WAAAAAAAAAAAAY back in my chair. I was thinking of getting an oil pressure gauge to fill the center vent. What do you guys think?

I have to do some more work, cleaning up wires and such but it should be done soon.

Tis a lot of gauges, that's for sure. Diggin the cobra radar detector. What gauge do you plan to put in the gauge pod? Do you plan to keep the middle air vent open? Lookin good, tho.

            That's cool stuff man!
Now you have to gut your interior and cage it to make that tach fit in

Looks weird with that empty slot in the pod and the wires need to go behind the dash but other than that I like it.

Now's a good time to do away with your A/C. 50 pounds of dead weight. Look's good, however I'm not to cool with the tach. For racing it would be great . I have trouble looking at the stock one with the fat steering wheel. A shift light is a must either way.

I think my goal right now is to make this into a low 12 second car, it may just take me a while, shifter light is coming (going on the tach). For some reason I love it and with my height and how i sit (i actually sit up right) I really can't see the RPMs cuz the top of the steering wheel is in the way. So no worries about that anymore. Hitting the rev limiter hurts

My AC doesn't even work so I mid as well get rid of it. Heater can stay though. I also want to get rid of the EGR and AIR system to clean up the engine bay!

looks good man.how bout a trans temp to fill a spot.just a thought.nice thing about these cars a/c is real easy to remove.unlike the older ones that were on the serpentine with everything else.

i have the 3 a/c vents filled with gauges too. Do all 3 it looks sick. the only differance with mine is they are black faces. you should keep all your gauge faces the same color. your 5 inch is black and the others are white???

what are you going to do to the stock like temp gauges and everything leave them hooked up? i just ran my stock temp sensor into a intake temp sensor i had lying around seems to work pretty well... the sending ohms are the same... not sure how accuracte it is but its better than double gauges IMO i like the tach were you have it doesnt seem really up in the way like the left side tach's might drop it down just a tad bit but it looks real nice... now just ditch that stock steering wheel ...lol although the radio controls are something you miss after a while...
