  • Easily repairable?

    Or need a new door?

  • #2
    What happened

I think you can buy skins for that but you might be better off finding a used door and have it painted.

It might be repairable but I don't know much about that
    Sorry!

You may be able to 'glas it. I'd talk to a pro though, and maybe see if there may be a door available out there.

I would think it should be repairable with some fiberglass epoxy.

drivers door or passenger door. That can be fiberglassed but not sure how well it will hold up on a door edge.

Rolo: Go to a boat or marine store and look for this fiberglass powder that they sell. It gets mixed in with fiberglass resin and makes it a little easier to work with while also making it harder about three times as strong as ordinary epoxy. Stuff is great.

you should be able to glass it - a quick inexpensive band-aid would be some black door edge guarding - that would hide 95% until you have the time/money to fix it properly

                    IDK what happened.

Yoshi was like this when I picked it up in 2005. He had like the chrome outer trim people use on their doors, trunk..etc.

Well it just looked really cheap so I yanked it off like a week after we bought it.

Just seems like it go worse over time!

I've done quite a bit of fiberglass work over the year. Its not a hard fix but if you get it done its going to cost you a ton. Body work doesn't come cheap. I'd search junkyards for a good door. I know Freeman's in Davison has at least one but its red.

Looks like a drivers door, but I have a perfect passanger door with the glass and side mirror you could have for real cheap
