Yeah, they do make it look cheap. My moldings are fading on the top, they look like garbage.

Imma roll pretty for the M N' G.

its easy to do with fishing line or dental floss.

I personally dont think a car looks better or worse with or without them, so im leaving mine on for the sake of it protecting my door.

Yeah goo gone should work just fine. Wish I could take mine off but my driver side door was repainted and I dunno if the left it on or not and don't wanna find out the hard way.

mine has saved my paint from my own stupidity once when i was pulling out of the garage with the door open...as i was pulling out the door swung out farther and hit it, so it saved me there.

                  I joined the club

I noticed how loose they were in the heat today and couldnt resist . Had both sides off in 10-15 minutes and removed the clue in 15-20 minutes. Followed by a quick wash = WOW . VERY SMOOTH. Now I think I'm going to remove the TransAm letters and order a set of polished stainless replacements. Along with Polished Pontiac inserts for the rear.

x2 to Travis's comments. I did mine during the winter, sucked ass. Sat there with a heat gun heating it up but having to be careful not to heat the paint too much.

I just took off the side molding on mine yesterday. A hair dryer and sore thumbs was all it took. I can't believe the paint underneath is the same color as the rest of the door, my T/A has 145k miles and obviously is red, one of the worst colors for fading. Anyway, looks sweet on black, transampimp!
