I have a set of C5 ZO6 rims. They are a black with a machined lip. The whole theme of my car is black, white, silver. I was thinking about hand painting the inset of the corvette logo white in the center caps. What do you guys think?
Part of me wants to be different but part of me thinks it might be a bit tacky/riced out.

I think they are fine, but if you are going to do it just take your time and make it look good. I have seen some hand painting on decals what not that is not so good and detracts from the car.

I think it is because I take it in and out all the time, the rubber has just stretched out, especially at the bottom where it is really thin. It annoys me more then anything.
I would say Yeah, if it wasn't the vette logo in there...but since you don't have a vette I wouldn't do it. You could get a black vinyl made w/ a bird on it in white and stick it on the center caps. I think that would be pretty cool.
