I finally got a decent picture of my car with painted calipers and rotors.
I used Duplicolor red on calipers and black on the bracket and rotors.
It took a few hours. The hardest part is the cleaning... and the sky's
the limit on how much time you want to spend on that. The Duplicolor
kit apparently has some ceramic(?) in it that's supposed to make
            the paint easier to clean.

Three coats. As I recall, you have to apply each coat within an hour of the last, or you'll need to wait 5 hours(?)
If I ever get in there again, I'll do the cooling slots on the rotors.

And there was enough Black left to do 3 coats on my GXP... including the cooling slots.

i did 5 coats of red and 4 coats of clear coat and it dried incredibly fast!!! just asking because mine seem a lil bit more glossy

You're right about it being fast drying.
I thought about clear, but did't want to bury the "ceramic" properties. But clear would defnitely give you a bit more gloss.
My picture was a bit washed out, and the red looks a bit orange. Here's a closer shot of the rear. The rear had a lot of exposed rotor/hub.

looks good! i just did my fronts not too long ago. did the bracket black, and the calipers grey. i also cleared mine. they look really good. not as stand out as yours and seans, but i like things plain and simple. i'll do my rears before the new rear end goes in! but yeah it looks really good! i love the GXP too! torque steer's gotta be bad on a FWD V8?!!!???!!

It's not bad at all. I read that they really did some work to reduce the torque steer. It handles & runs great but it's not a Z.
Many moons ago I had an old '74 Toronado with a 455... now that had torque steer. There's nothing stranger than seeing tire smoke curling over the front fenders as you wrestle with the steering wheel.

yeah that would be some death grip and a strange site, im used to my back seat filling up with smoke lol.....

that's cool about the GXP though. i haven't drove one yet, but they sound mean and they're pretty cool cars IMO! leave it to modern technology to take the drive out of DRIVING a car!

New? You must be talking Grand Prix?
I've got the last of the Bonnevilles; an Old Man's GXP with 275HP V8.
