tinted side windows and windshield strip

I have to do my ds window. Some dill rod smashed my window last fall. did you take the door panel off or cut it at the seal?

that would be the professional way but even some shops just cut it off instead of breaking peoples panels

Just push the window molding down and it will allow you to go low enough that you will never see a line...

In Michigan it's legal to tint the top 6" of the side windows and front window, and you can black out the rear if you want to. But a fully tinted side window is illegal. Although I've heard talk of that changing so you can tint your windows, it probably won't happen.

Doctors note will work just fine.

Really depends on your area tho on weather you need it or not tho.

My windows are pretty dark at 5% hatch and 15% sides and I have never been pulled over for it once. Plus my car is black so that just makes them look that much darker.

snaptint.com pre cuts the tint which makes the job that much easier. its what i used

I was stopped several times in my youth with tinted side windows and will not do it anymore, not worth the hassle when driving a car that already attracts attention. Some will make you rip it off while stopped or prove it was removed at the station with your ticket.

Remember guys I doctor's note works fine but they are still gonna pull you over and that gives them a chance to find other things, this is a huge reason why I still haven't tinted my bird its just asking for trouble.

Looks great! Did you have any struggles with the window being curved a little bit? Also, what brand of tint did you use and where did you get it? Hope you got the good stuff! I got some at Murrays and did my sonoma, turned blue after just a few months.

Doctor's note will work for awhile untill some cops get frustrated with it lol (ask me how i know) So i actually got to the point where i have a restriction on my license saying i can have it, if the cop wants to be a dick they can actually give me a ticket for driving a vehicle thats not tinted!

Very cool! How did you go about this? I have a note also after getting pulled over once in the TA. Haven't had a problem since so I haven't had to use it yet.
