  • vht nightshade users quick ?

i have tried 2 times to black out my taillights and both times ended up with something showing in the paint.atfirst i though i just didnt clean them well enough.so the second time i had a friend of mine thats a wiz with spray paint try and he noticed that the paint can was releasing fuzzies out of it.tried 3 different cans and all of them were doing it.anyone else have this problem?if so is there a way to clean up the mess so it looks good or should i just say screw and get the black out covers?as you all know that have used it that every little defect shows up on our taillights.thanks for the help.

Brian, you are being paged. . . lol Make sure you thoroughly prep the surface, and do it in a clean, well ventilated area with a temperature over 55*F. If you are already doing these things, then I'd say you are just getting a defective product.

Hmm, I don't specifically remember fuzzies or anything in the cans. It was a few years ago tho, so not sure. I just wiped them down with alcohol and then sprayed them.

try taking a tip from another can of spray paint that you may have lyin around? possibly they have a bunch of shitty tip/nozzles on them that are giving it the stucko effect? just my $0.02
