  • To paint or not to paint, that is...

the question. Alright guys i have been tossing the idea of redoing the interior of my car from that NASTY grey to black. I would be using the duplicolor or sem paint with adhesive.

The only thing i'm worried about is the dash area and if that would hold up. My car is mostly a garage queen but still see the sun...I would prolly buy one of those sun visors to help.

I have talked to alot of the guys who have done this on other sites and everybody says it works great. I just don't want to screw up and have it look like shit and chip everywhere!!

SO YES OR NO? Reasons behind the answer?

And no im not made out of $$ so buying new panels is out unless i find some cheap!!

I did it to some of the plastic interior pieces and it turned out well. Go for it.

Yup, go for it. Use adhesion promoter if you want a little more security. I painted my whole interior.

I used SEM on one of my Lincoln's and it has held up well. Like B said make sure you use the adhesion promoter. Good luck, and we need pics when you are finished!!
