Personally I'd recommend (almost) anything that is waterless based.

The stuff I used was by Blue Coral called Dri-Clean.

Spray it on, scrub it in with a stiff brush, and vaccum it up.

          Easiest thing you can do.

My old teacher did that with my friend's Taurus wagon (said teacher was said friend's uncle). I saw the interior of the car after he had cleaned it - looked brand new.

I use a bissell portable steamer.

I usually use the generic carpet foam - let it soak for a while and then steam it out. Works pretty well. If that doesnt work ill let some dilluted simple green soak and do the same.

floormats you can remove and hit with the hose/power washer. Just make sure they dry even or they will look terrible.

1st thing, do you have a nice wet/dry shop vac.

We have a good one. I dump water right on my carpet, with carpet cleaner.

Scrub it with a nice stiff brush, then vaccume it up.

I've had the interior out of a lot of cars and scrubbed it this way. I've even had the hose in the car with me. (we have hot water in the garage).

Just vaccume it out good and let it dry good.

that is essentially primitive steam cleaning, just less the extremely hot temperature of the water.
