anodized LT1 headlight brackets

    How did you anodize them? I'm not familiar with that whole process. . . I don't know if they are rusting, but they are chipped and all nasty and crap. . . I'm not pleased. I think they would look better if I painted them, but maybe if I anodized them, they would hold up to the elements better?

      anodizing is a only a style of paint that requires prepwork... other than that its nothing special. its a clear paint, so when applied to a polished metal the paint will apear chrome. I didnt do a fantastic job prepping mine, and i also layered it on so it would be dark... therefore these brackets are a poor example of anodizing. but no, anodizing isnt going to be any more or less durable than anything else.

        Oh . . . I'm just going to use regular, bland, boring, old paint then . . . lol Your's still look great, though!

          lol yea. to be honest the only reason i even used anodized paint on these things was so that they would be close to matching the other stuff that i anodized. theyre in such a location that no one would be able to appreciate a nice anodized job anyway.
