I decided that I would give in and let you all have what you want. I'm taking off the hood part of my front-end bra tomorrow when I wash the car, and it's not going back on. I might take off the bottom part too, if I decide to break out the black spraypaint and paint the headlight buckets and grille. . . Maybe even a set of stripes on the way next week? I don't know, but I think you all will be surprised. . .

I'm hoping that the damage I noticed and took pics of before is only surface damage, but I know that is not the case in one place in particular. I need to bump a big dent in the front corner of the hood and the adjacent corner of the fender. After I do that, then I'm ready to paint! The black buckets and grille are coming before any body repair, and either touch-up or a quick re-spray of the front end are coming after all of this and I finish my hood. . .Nick H.

Yeah I'm sure they will love that lol. On a side note I floored my car by an Avalance yesterday so my friend could hear the exhaust from behind me, well the Avalance pulls up to me afterward and I'm thinking they are gonna yell at me for driving like an ass. Low and behold its a smokin hott chick in teh pass seat and she yells this at me "OMG that was ****ing hot!, do it again." I tried to get her to follow me so I could give her a ride but they had plans but damn she was fine.Doing less with more

throw the bra in the trash once and for all and fix that front end. The bra is just going to make it worse flapping around and loosening the paint some more and more chunks will come off.------------------------------------------

exactly. Bras are like sand blasters to paint, seriously. I've never once heard a successful story of someone having a bra on the frontend of their car and not having some sort of paint damage / fade / scratches / swirl marks / paint chips after taking the bra off. Yeah the paint's in rough shape, but I swear when you last took pics with the bra off there wasn't as much missing paint. Atleast with the bra off, it's even more of a reminder "GET TO WORK!"Originally posted by 97rs4lifethrow the bra in the trash once and for all and fix that front end.
