    saving my money to get the maro painted this winter/ next spring if i do end up keeping it, i was wondering what a decent paint job would cost me, prob looking at just going with the stock color.

    any info on what paint costed you guys, or a good painter on the east side. lol im located in sterling heights
    wishing i could drive like joe and the atm squad

    When I painted Ben's car the two-tone scheme it had before the hailstorm destroyed it, I think the materials cost a little over $700. I didn't charge him labor, but I would guess that for a reputable shop to paint the car, it will probably cost a couple thousand for just a respray in the stock color. You should talk to Pace, I think he can do that kind of work for you.

      $2900.00 for my buddy to have his 3rd gen firebird painted by a body shop.
      Painted red over the stock red.

        depends on color and complexity but i think around 3K is about the average. If your not doing a color change it would be cheaper.

          Mine costs close to 4k for a whole repaint to the original color.

            Whatever you do, DO NOT get/use OMNI paint.

              yeah depending on what quality stuff you use it'll be between 3-5k for a good paint job

                  Why? My dad and I have used it on several things and it works great. It's all about proper prep work. My whole Sonoma was repainted in it and it still looks great 4 years later.

                        eek, the whole car needs to be repainted? Id just have the bad areas done otherwise, doesnt seem like it would be worth it for a 12 year old car to have 3-5k into it, can buy another z for that much.

                              well if it stays its getting a new front bumper, cowl hood, and ss spoiler, the quater panels need paint aswell no rust just needs paint

                              lol i can set up my engine for and with a procharger for 3-5k? i thought the s.c. was that expensive itself ?
