Does anyone know if or how you can remove "objects in the mirror are closer than they appear" from the passenger mirror? Thanks!

Not without finding a replacement that doesn't have it. It's etched in the glass.Nick H.

No problem. I was thinking it would be cool to get one that had "OBJECTS IN MIRROR APPEAR TO BE LOSING" etched into the pass. mirror, but never found a place that could do it. . . lolOriginally posted by OIF1VET View PostYeah, that's what I found out too.. Thanks!!Nick H.

And yes you can remove them, just smash down you right foot and the objects will get smaller

Yeah, that's what I bought.. Not sure if this is the guy I got mine from though, forgot to check. $4, what the hell. Ended up putting one on my side mirror and 1 on the rearview mirror.. This is the best pic I could get of the rearview, couldn't get a good pic of the sidemirror..Originally posted by 81DaytonaPaceCar View Post

Yeah, I kind of want it to look pretty much stock, so the white etched glass vinyls would be cool. I'm going to see what I can do about having a new mirror made by the local glass shop. . . I want it to look bone stock until somebody's really looking at the mirror, like on a long drive, so I want it to say "Objects in mirror appear to be losing" or something like that, 2 lines of text. haha.
That looks pretty sweet, Larry!Nick H.

I tired Larry when I was redoing my car but was told it was not possible due to some stupid law. I never found a mirror without the wording.Originally posted by OIF1VET View PostDoes anyone know if or how you can remove "objects in the mirror are closer than they appear" from the passenger mirror?
