LED Taillights

a little while ago, i seen a fourth gen firebird with aftermarket LED taillights on the highway in lansing. they looked so cool that the next day i went serching all over the web looking for a set. i havent turned up anything even remote to aftermarket/custom for my car. do any of you know were to find some?

you sure they werent stock tail lights with the red lense takin out n led bulbs?

MAY WANT TO JUMP ON LS1TECH AND TALK TO A GUY NAMED Brian2006. He works with the LED's and i think he has his website on his sig.

Also, you will need flashers cause the current draw with the LED's is less. But Brian2006 will let you know, thats where im getting mine from when i get the cash.

lol they are super easy to do, basically. only hard part is the front light kits. BACKS/REVERSE ARE PLUG IN PLAY only thing is the exception of the turn signals

Just replacing bulbs is one thing. There's several guys on LS1tech that have gutted the stock lights and made custom boards so the whole light is LED's not just replacing the factory bulbs.

For Firebirds? I've only seen the ones for Camaros and they look a bit strange with the round backup lights.

I figure lets give this one another whirl. Has anybody seen a white fourth gen Trans Am with what looks to be taillights that you would order out of a catalog? I mean not just plugging in LED replacement bulbs, but something you would go out and pay like $400 a set for. I know I seen this car and that car is the sole reason that I found this site.

There are a few guys that you can talk to on this site. One is FamousZ. Last I knew he was working for LEDvault. Another is the guy that has his white Ls1 SS for sale on here. Pretty sure that he made his own, and even made them sequential.

I'm waiting on mine to come in. I cleared the tails already. I may hook up small capacitors to sequentialize them, but haven't really figured it in yet. I want to make sure they're bright enough first. When it's all hooked up, there'll be something like over 250 high powered ones, but just waiting the results.

I think you can find those LED tail lights at ebay for a nice price, or you can search online for lots of great stores that carry these.
