4th gen dash question

Im looking at a 2000 ta and the dash pad is cracked pretty baddly in several places. Ive been looking for a replacement at junk yards and ebay and wither no luck or to expensive. Anyway I find 93-96 firebird dash pads cheaper and in good condition so I was wondering if the 93-96 firebird/transam dash pad is the same as the 1997-02 dash pads or is it differnet and if so how much different? thanks...

I belive they are different?

When I replaced mine it cost me 200+ from the dealer.
Most of them are busted already that's why they are hard to find.
Could try Craigslist???

Hey Matt, I have a '93 maro and bought my dash pad from this place:

They claim to have them for Firebirds and Trans Ams as well. They are new and the price is $240.00

I've bought new and used parts from them and have never had a problem. You also might want to call them and ask about used dash pads. They just might have something for you.

"93-96 Firebird Dash Pad will work in 97-02 Firebirds. The defrost vent is different, it also does not have the hole for the red alarm light."

so i might have to get a 93-96 pad and see because i found a 93-96 firebird dash pad uncracked for about 35 bux...

So the worst thing would be is that you would have to figure out where to drill a hole for the little red light.
