The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. I am looking at shifter knobs for my car and I found one that I think is cool. The price is a little on the high side but it is for an automatic so it needs the button on it. what do you all think.

I think it is because I take it in and out all the time, the rubber has just stretched out, especially at the bottom where it is really thin. It annoys me more then anything.
I wouldn't run that shift knob if someone paid me to! I don't think the whole skull thing fits a Camaro. More of a rat rod thing IMO. Lokar makes some great products though.

Could get 1 out of a 4th gen like I did. Looks alot nicer then the t handle.
That nob came in 3rd gen Camaro's too. My 87 has a nob just like that only it leather wrapped and its original to the car. My 91 also had the same nob only in vinyl.

GM used that knob in a lot of vehicles for years. (All 5.7 Iroc's had it.) IMO I would do that before spending $$ on a skull.
I don't have the stock one on right now anyway. The shifter has the manual shifter boot and just a ball typeknob on it. I bought it that way. I will post pics of my interier later tonight.
