The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! For some reason, when my lights are down they don't match up with the hood at all. One cornner sticks way above the hood while the other is way below. Both my lights are like this. It's like they're in crooked but I don't know how that's possable. Anyone dealt with this?
I know my hoods fine because it matches up well with the front bumper and fenders well.
I'm much more active on TGO as they have more info pertaining to my model, but I do stop by from time to time.
i think he means that when the headlights are down (they are hidden head lights) that the panels (body panels) dont flush out with the hood and fenders... right?
anyways i dont know really but im guessin there has to be an adjustment somewhere. bump for ya.
There is a way to adjust them, but it's rather tedious. Look at the sides of the cover when the headlights are up. You'll see 4 philips screws. Take these out, and carefully remove the top (body color) part of the headlight cover.
What's left beneath this is going to be black, and there will be 4 torx screws on the top flat surface, one at each corner. The cover is adjusted up at each corner by loosening these torx screws, and down by tightening them. Be careful not to over tighten, as it's easy to strip out the plastic part that it's screwed into. It's rather time consuming because you have to keep installing and removing the top cover, but the results make the work worthwhile. If you need more help, PM me.
Great question as I've got the same problem with my passenger side light, the rear of the light is lower than the front and it makes the lines look like crap. I'm going to try the same thing.
