  • Pinstriping opinions needed!!

Found some pinstriping I really like.. I don't know to how create a poll, so just post your opinions here.. I like the clean simple look and lines of my car but have been wanting to add something to make it pop a little more.. Here's some pics of what I plan/want to do.. LMK what you think, good or bad.. I think I should stick with black as that is the outside theme of the car, but I am open to suggestions..

I won't be doing the striping on the snorkel, but like the striping under the RAM AIR, will also add the same under the WS6 badge on the rear

honestly not a fan of anything fancy like that. maybe a couple lines down the side of the car if you were really set on having something. but i wouldnt put anything especially those. they just dont look right. kinda girly, not that theres anything wrong with that. haha

Hmmmmm, dammit...lol Maybe my best bet is to take it in to the pinstriper and ask his opinions of what can tastefully be done to my car..

I like it, but when Fred said it looked kinda girly, thats the only way I can look at it now, thanks fred, lol. It would probably look OK if it wasnt quite so fancy.

I really don't like fancy pinstriping on anything newer than a mid 70's car. They just don't look right on a "modern" vehicle. They just look tacky and overdone. It does look great on a 60's or older custom vehicles though.

honesty.. i'd stay away from pinstriping.. doesnt look right on modern cars..

If you had an old nova or chevelle, it might fit it better..

the only part of your roof that is pewter. guess it isnt a T-bar ive just always called it that.

here's how it looks on the collector's ed TA's

edit: actually you might have to do the mirrors too for it to look right.
