  • Black vs. Orange

Finally "throwing in the towel" and paying to have my car painted 2nd week of June.

Cant decide to keep it black, or get it painted Orange (like the new Cobalts/C6, i think its sunburst or summerset)

I love black, but you never see camaros in that shade of orange that often. Only thing is, Orange would be $300 more.

Need to make a decision by next friday but I cant decide.

I say go black...then you dont have to worry about all the door jambs, etc...however black is the best color to paint over for that same reason. Heres some pics to stir your mind...some nice oranges and some nice blacks

yea i would have to dish out more $$$ to get the door, trunk, all jambs repainted where as if i go black, i'll just rattle can the jambs and it will look fine

still undecided though, i like both colors

oh, the car was originally pewter.

so either way i'm gonna have to spray the jambs, but its alot easier to rattle can black paint because the $1 store doesnt sell sommerset orange spray paint

orange hands down, not only does it look 10 times better you will be saving yourself a lot of headaches keeping black clean.
