  • CETA mod, need painter!

Want to have the CETA mod done on my car, I'm a wuss with paint.. Anyone know any place on the west side that does good work, or any west side members who paint? Any idea what I'm looking at price wise?

I bet it won't cost more than $300. I'd say you could get a shop to do it for $150. What color are you going to go with?

Collectors edition TA mod, it is basically just painting the lower bumper black on TAs just like the CETA pictured here...

I don't care for the look. Check with Pace Fabrication. He'd probably do it for a real good price. You could always mask it off and rattle can it yourself since you're doing semi-gloss. Seen several people do it themselves over on ls1tech.

yep almost all do it themselves, from the sounds of it its pretty easy to tape off and do it, when i got my car I saw that mod and walked outside to see if I could do it, to my dismay my firebird doesnt have that back bumper.. owell my body kit is good enough for me.

lol! I was going to suggest the CETA on you other post with the pics of your rims...but figured I'd leave it. It's your car. You can do that shit easy...I do remember seeing a write up on it somewhere, I think it might have been on LS1Tech.com It just paint...I'd try it if I were you, if you screw up then go have it done professionally. Get some dupli-color black wet sand that shit, prime it, and paint it.

A kid at my work would do it. He was supposed to paint/clear my engine bay but I can't come up with a spare $250
