Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Im going for a black/green theme. Spoiler,GFX,turnsignnals (front and rear) Single black stripe yada yada
And I will be having black turn signals. I was going to just buy a set on ebay but I figure I would just follow this tutorial and just nightshade my current clears to save me some money and if I !@#$ up.. I still have my stock ones
I have done my Front markers/turn signals... I love the way this looks... I am going for Black out look, I know a lot of people are like I don't like the way that looks... but hey my car! anyway I wanted to show... I did the app like before but I used a new lens Clear this time so I would not have to worry about the darkness of the light, also I went for one that is black inside so no chrome look inside. So i only needed a few coats 4 for these, the rear lights I put like 8 coats to make it look right... and I put like 8 coats of clear coat on these and of course polished them up and here are the photos...
With no lights on....
With running daytime running lights on
Side View... Now I just need to fix all those rock chips and the scrapes on the nose... UGHHH!!!!.....
I think i am going to redo my tail lights with clear lenses and see if I can get them just a bit brighter...
When I had the bodywork done on my Bird, the painter went ahead and did the shading with thinned out black. I did a wet sand with 1000, 1500, tehn 2000 grit, then buffed them out. Turned out pretty nice after all that. Granted the black looked good (Car's black), but with taking 696 everyday, I found the hint of red in the day and when the brakes and/or running lights are on, it's like they aren't even shaded worked the best. 'Course, I turned around and went uncoated with LEDs in most of the sockets. Got the shaded ones up for grabs BTW.
Okay Here is a shot of my tint this photo was taken at night and in the dark, also the car is very dirty. I am going to give it a few days and then polish up the lights. I will need to get a little brighter lights I hope I get them next week! I didn't tint the backup lights as much as I did the rest of the lens.
Nice write up there is also a great write up on ls1tech. you can also wet sand or buff them for the extra shine at the end.
I actually did one on LS1tech too, of coarse this was after I found out there was already one on there.
But there is a place called Parts Peddler here in Chelsea, you can get it for 10 bucks a can and they usually have it in stock if not then they get it next day.
I was looking to just go and get it tomorrow... But That don't look like it will happen... I have looked everywhere and called about a doz places today... Most of them didn't even know what I was talking about...
I will have to just wait.. "NOT A STRONG SUIT WITH ME"
