So, here's the story. My Buick was sitting in the driveway, without any license plates, because it was wrecked. We ended up parking it over at my dad's friend's house. This guy is also a painter, so he offered to trade me a paintjob on the Camaro for the Buick. What do you guys think? I can have the car painted any color I want, and it will be professionally done. . . I am sticking with orange, but I'm getting black stripes. Let me know if you think it's a good deal!

Well I meant, he wouldnt have the LT1 to do a swap into his camaro anymore. Which isnt a big deal because its more hassle then what its probably worth. Id go for the paintjob now, and buy a Z28 down the road.Originally posted by c0ncEpTCar probily needed way to much work anyways. Get the paint job and be done with it

No, the engine is still in there, but I would need to buy a bunch of stuff, like the wiring harness and the PCM and all of that good stuff. . . I was actually thinking about it, and I think I am going to have it painted Black. . . The guy works with my Dad, and he does great work. . . I would need to cut in all of the parts myself. I think I could make the car look sweet with very little work if I go with the black. Any other suggestions? Oh yeah. . . bye bye LT1. The guy is gonna swap it into his '86 Monte Carlo SSNick H.

I guess it depends on what you want more then, the power or the looks. Can always start saving for a swap or a V8 car after this too.

So it's agreed then. . . Black, right? I think I'd rather have the looks, because I get razzed more abouut the looks than I do about the V6. . . Nobody knows what engine I have when I don't tell them. . . Plus, the glasspack doesn't hurt things, either. . . lolNick H.
