Fiberglass repair

I need to get going on my SS spoiler ASAP. Ive never done fiberglass repair so i have no idea where to start... does anyone know of any writeups? I'd like to do this myself so i can put my own writeup on my website when im done.

That's gonna be a major pain to rebuild the corner of that and have it look right. Probably be easiest to make up a foam inner core and glass and resin over that. They did a buildup on Muscle Car on Spike and they used green florist foam for a core, then laid tin foil over it and then laid the glass soaked resin over it. They were able to pull the fender off though. You'd be better off leaving the foam in place and putting the glass and resin over it and sanding it once it hardens. Once you have a good rough shape, you can go back over with bondo to fill in the pinholes and such.

thats a good idea, thanks for the input. I have a bout a 1"x1.5" spot to replace.

Am i correct in assuming I can buy glass and resin at home depot or similar places?

I doubt they sell it at Home Depot....go to an auto parts store...or a boat store if you have one around.
