    I had the same issue with 30th anniversary stickers on my Z it was a PITA and alot of time. Aircraft decal remover worked best.. you have to becareful with the paint and the amount of time it sets on there. also after wetsanding may help..

      how are you trying to get an edge?

      get a plastic razor blade or nyla scraper - and use a heat gun

      a trick ive used if they are really old and dry is to heat them up using the gun then put a heated heating pad on it to keep it warm while you go back and start working again with the gun and blade - use adhesive remover when done to clean up residue - however mineral spirits will work in a pinch

        Agreed with Todd.....get a heat gun. Hair dryers don't get it hot enough.

              k i went and used my discount @ Walmart and bought one for $20...I pulled off one of the big stripes yesterday..going to try and do some today for like 1/2 hour before I pick trisha up...

              the damn sticky residue was getting me frustated haha but most of it came off...just had some spots here and there to get

              ill post the pics of yesterdays progress around like 4:30ish today

                Sorry about the wait..the first set of pics is from yesterday, the 2nd today...Im done for today..its getting a lil to cold for me (doing this @ my moms place) and wish she had a garage i could just sit into and finish this today..so hopefully with my work sched I will be able to have the other side done...I didnt much of a difference or a difference @ all with the paint being covered by the stripes..looks the same to me IDK maybe im just blind

                Oh yea..is there anything that works better than goo gone? Its working with the sticky residue, but not working as I hoped it to.

                        yup I did them myself..um..the roof ones came from Brent Franker

                        my 35th came from 3rdgendecals.com..

                        IDK if the guy still makes them i tried contacting him many times and nothing
