  • Tail Lights.

My retarded tail light for some reason like to fog up and leak water. So Im in need of a set. Ive look all over, but I can not find a set of after markets. I want a set of Euros or something. Does anyone make a set for a 4th Gen ('95 Formy)? I was thinking about getting blackout covers, but the piece in the middle of the lights is scratched. So right now Im down to a few options, New Tails Lights, New Tail Lights & Black Out Covers, or what I want is a set of Euros if they are made? What would you do?

If no one makes Euros who makes the best set of blackout covers for our cars?

I've never seen Euro tail lights for the birds. But have seen the black outs.

By Euro tails do you mean the export tailights put on cars going to Europe or altezzas. The export tailights are very difficult to find, maybe Ebay or somebody parting out a car in Europe. They do not make Altezzas for birds,THANK HEAVENS!

There are blackout covers for birds but I have never seen one for sale new, only used. I would suggest you talk to Travis from GVVS, our site sponsor about some black out spray paint. Me and Nick (93FormulaLT1) used the VHT Niteshades stuff with good results. About $10-15 bucks a can if I remember right. Just like spray paint, but make sure you give it a couple of days to dry, and then polish them to a fine shine and your good to go.

If you are adventurous, I might also suggest dissasembling your current tails to strip the red plastic insert and reseal the tailight better and make it water tight. I have seen that done on a few cars, unique, cheap and great for those darker metallic cars.

If they made euros they wouldn't look right on a bird. Get the 98-02 honeycomb lights, or 94-97 stockers. I have the tail light covers, and will be replacing them with black out paint in the spring. You can have my covers for a good price. Or pay a paint shop approx. $50 to spray them.

Thanks! Wow, got a few more choices. I like the export lights, but I know I won't find them. No one ever has them forsale.. I like the niteshades, but last time I sprayed a set of lights I had bad results. I made a set for my cavalier and it looked like shit. I did 3 sets of lights before I was satisfied. Made my money back by selling the other ones. Id probably have to have a shop do it so it looks right. Im not fond of the honeycomb lights. My favorite is those clears! Im really digging that. Imma see if anyone has a set of them exports sitting around becuase I like them. If not Im going to attempt to make me a set of clears

oh yea fourth gens def went to europe. i doubt clarkson tested any though. The ones ive seen have funky turn signals added to the front quarter panels. most likely they were cars shipped over there, i dont think they are common.
