    2nd gen T-top leaks can be usually fixed in 20 seconds...3rd gen...no joy...

      Okay, I took 'em off the other day, and wiped down the seals, which were rather dirty...took a few passes with a wet paper towl to get whatever it was off (dusty type shit).

      Anyways, I took some pictures of those rusted things.

        Oh man, no wonder they leak. The center bar is hosed. I bet money it has holes rusted right through it.

            i agree with james on that.. that center bar is junked..... i don't think your gonna get it to quit leaking from up there anytime soon unless u silicon the t-tops down and shut

                  I was wonder how that thing came out. I didn't realize it was ALL one piece. And yes, it's trashed.

                  Shit, do I have to take the weatherstripping off?!?

                        I guess if I'm REALLY careful, I can do it without ripping the weatherstripping. There's no way in hell I'm doing that again.

                          A heat gun might help...and don't do it in the cold...may peel right off...

                            Okay. I'll wait until the summer to do this, or at least when it hits 70.

                            I'll probably order one of the parts soon. If it's a not new one (New = $150 = too much), I'll sand all the rust down, and coat it with anti-rust paint.

                              in the mean time you could probably use a buffer like a rubber mat or garbage bag
