lol true that, but I got the part # from the parts department at the dealership Angie works at so I knew I was ordering the right one.

            • I have to say, that dash adds a lot more to the look of the interior than i expected. I like my old dash, but the new one looks really good with the red carpet.

                • Thanks guys. Just waiting for the new dash pad to come in.

One HUGE noticable difference was the squeaks and rattles and noises are completely gone with this new dash. Being that it's entirely all one piece (not counting the radio bezel faceplate, HVAC faceplate, and the glovebox) it really does not rattle compared to the 93-97.

i think thats exactly the reason GM opted to update them in 97.

                      • Well Rolo -- you can always swap in a 97+ interior if you want yours to go away too.

                              • The dash pad is in and the interior is like 99.9% complete! Everything's installed (I don't count the carPC as part of the interior conversion project, that's a separate project in itself) but I need to paint the driver's side knee bolster because it's a light charcoal color and it drives me nuts.

                                Anyway, here it is!
