Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Those are plastic pieces right? I used Autopaint in my interior..stuck to the plastic perfectly fine..but I still have crap load of work to be done..thinking about just buying another dash set
I wiped it down with a rag, then used adhesion promoter on it. It seems to have worked quite well, but I don't know if it really did anything. I painted the rest of the pieces with just the paint, no promoter. But yeah, no sanding or anything. I wanted it to look semi-stock.
I'm thinking about offering it for sale (for cheap) but we'll see. Part of the dash was ... cut off so only parts will be for sale, not the whole thing. The main problem with it is that it's painted, so it won't be that much.
coming along nicely - gotta be done in time for the M&G!!!
I'm really hoping for next weekend to be done with the dash install. Not the carPC, but the dash install. Once I have the dash all in, then I can figure out how to mount the PC and what not when I see how much room I have.
All that is left to finish the dash install now is to lengthen the gauge harness 6 inches (24 wires), and then install the dash. Now that I finally figured how to drop the steering column, I'm really hoping it won't be much work. OH... but I do have to paint the a-pillars and the dash pad still, too, but again that's only a day project. A few coats and I'll be done.
What do you mean "main dash"? I can tell you right now what's good:
A-pillars
Gauge Cluster
Knee bolster
Glove box door
What's not any good... dash pad (I stomped on it purposefully because I hated that easily-cracked mofo), passenger side of the dash (I literally cut it out of the car), radio bezel (carPC).
Dash pad is the infamous piece that everyone is always looking for. It's the big plastic piece with the defrost vent that butts up against the windshield.
