I'm pretty sure your lap is just as good of a passenger seat as it gets...

i've been wondering how hard it is to convert to newer dash and al what you have to do... cause i was considering doing it sometime... down the road. as far as taking all the old out and putting in new.. does it line up the same? is there any hard modification you have to do?

I decided that the color of the dash was too "charcoal" for the rest of my interior so I decided to paint it. I'm trying to make it look somewhat stock-ish. I bought gloss black instead of flat, though, because I thought flat would stick out more.

It wasn't sorting the technical threads correctly so it wasn't popping up to the top. Bumpin this up again. I'm really happy with the results so far... the paint was done in really light coats so the vents and everything aren't stuck into place like the previous job.

I'm really happy with the results of the black paint so far. I sprayed it on in light coats so it didn't just crap it all up. Plus I used vinyl/fabric paint so it should have more flex in it than regular paint. I also figured out how Kyle lowered his steering column, so now when I go to install it I can put the steering column on the driver's seat.

The dash is all finished painting, so next weekend I'll be lengthening the harness 6 inches and then I'll be installing the dash right after more than likely.
