I definitely think so. The new dash has a lot less parts so I have a good feeling it'll equate to a LOT less noise when I'm driving. Plus, I just think it looks a lot better.

Big difference in color compared to this:

I'm loving the black dash, matches the rest of the interior perfectly!

Dash pad is the infamous piece that everyone is always looking for. It's the big plastic piece with the defrost vent that butts up against the windshield.

What do you mean "main dash"? I can tell you right now what's good:
    A-pillars
    Gauge Cluster
    Knee bolster
    Glove box door

What's not any good... dash pad (I stomped on it purposefully because I hated that easily-cracked mofo), passenger side of the dash (I literally cut it out of the car), radio bezel (carPC).

well if your main dash is good..and you have the same glove department ill gladly take those off your hands so I can start mine ..

Would the paint be easy to come off?

I'm really hoping for next weekend to be done with the dash install. Not the carPC, but the dash install. Once I have the dash all in, then I can figure out how to mount the PC and what not when I see how much room I have.

All that is left to finish the dash install now is to lengthen the gauge harness 6 inches (24 wires), and then install the dash. Now that I finally figured how to drop the steering column, I'm really hoping it won't be much work. OH... but I do have to paint the a-pillars and the dash pad still, too, but again that's only a day project. A few coats and I'll be done.
