  • What i Plan if i keep my car

Now i don't know what your all going to say..........

but I want to paint my Ws6 rims Like fire engine red. Not a glossy red, but a flat one

Me and my have an idea for headlights for cars using HID lights. After we test it out on our own birds, we will probably start selling them, and installing them on other peoples TA's, camaros, any other car. Were going to start fabricating this project. Heres some Before and after pictures.

Tell me what you guys think and let us know if you would like them.

You're in trouble now, I'm a stickler for the HID conversion mod, and I love "out there" mods, so you're gonna get some critiquing from me.

Rims: I think if you do red spoke with a polished lip, you could do something that looks kinda interesting. It'd have to be just the right shade, though. Or, another idea, is to paint the sides of the spoke and the lip directly between the spokes (not the outside lip/ridge but the inside lip/ridge where the spoke connects to). Something that won't be overpowering, but still look interesting like an accent.

HIDs: Alright, I'm a HUGE stickler when it comes to the HID mod. Do you have any pics of the HID conversion's lights being beamed onto the wall? An HID kit is hard to accomplish. Of the 26 or so kits that have been investigated by some federal company (I can't remember the acronym), 24 or 25 of them were recalled for being bad quality and having glare problems, etc. As long as it's a TRUE HID with TRUE projector lenses so there aren't glare issues and no hot spots and stuff, then that's cool and thumbs up on that, 'cause I know the birds need a good HID conversion kit.

do it like meissen said, do the red on the inside of the rim as a accent....and if you do put red on your rims i sugest you get some red racing stripes or the hockey stripe so the rims dont look out of place.

red on black looks really good if you do it rite

please excuse my spelling... i went to a cathlic school.

The rims would make me sick to my stomach please don't ruin the car like that. The HID kit is just what F body guys need though, I'd buy one. P.S. these are just my opinions.

THanks for the "honest -ness" I know it's kind of out there. That photoshop job is good but that red is BAD. haha....i could imagine the polished rim or just the accent. Can you do a quick photoshop of that?

The HID's we are planning will be good. We have looked up alot of information on this and have a plan. We will be using teh HID lenses as well as the casing (which for some reason people don't do, they just use the bulb) Using the correct casing drastically helps such things as glare. We will try to get a pic of it on a wall. These are really neat and drastically increase vision at night. Once we fabricate these we are going to first ttry them on our own cars. We will show you and you tell us what you want. Then we can make it for other cars as well. We hope this will be a sucess!!

And with that lip........there is this lady i work with 20 inch rims with the same accent your talking about....the rims are grey and the accetns are a darker grey to compliment. Look good too. I would like to put some neons in the nostrils in my car if they do not block the intake too much.

i think that photoshop of the rims was actually kinda cool looking. it reminds me of my parents WS6 rims. cause they are bright freakin blue with the polished lip. i think the 30th anniversary WS6 rims on my parents car could get some criticism had GM not done them that way from the factory. so i think that red rim idear looks kinda good. im not sure i would do it. but that's just my $0.02. i would have to see it in person though....

The price will depend on my order or not in all honesty. How much would it be for you to install it and everything, no rigging.

We will be producing these HID's for any car asked for. We are testing on 96 and 2002 TA's at the moment. We will do same year camaro's and any custom jobs. Hopefully we will expand and do other types of vehicle's as well. So if your still interested we would be glad to have your business.
