Since it costs too much for an SOM T/A , I wanted to know how much should it cost to get a car painted that color? My guess is about 3500 and up, but i dont know. No cheap jobs.

If you're looking at a repaint you should look for a black car. That way the engine compartment can stay black and not look out of place as if it were red or white or some other color.Comment

It depends on the shop rates, the cost of the paint color and how much prep work they have to do. Luckily my dad has paint equipment and has helped me paint 3 of my vehicles. All it costs me is materials. A GOOD paint job that includes a color change will probably run you around $5K. That's if they pull all the panels off and paint the door and hatch jambs. If you're doing all of this for just a factory color, you're better off to just keep looking and pay the higher price for the color you want. If you want a custom color, then go for it.Comment
