Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
"Dan, you will know when I find the right vehicle. When I slide into the driver's seat and my legs start shaking like I got Parkinsons...then I will have found the right car." -myself
"Officer, the racing makes my shakes go away, it is my prescribed therapy!"
my friend had a white 3rd gen bird that i actually liked that kinda top on, but i think it was an actual factory deal...rksport ones on the other hand look like poo
I wouldnt say its the uglyest mod... Its definetly an waste of cash... putting neons on yur car is pretty gay if you ask me... tossing a set of 22s on an fbody.. or wire wheels.. come on, those all top that!
I personally like the Notchbacks, and for several reasons, not to mention they are a rare factory option not often found.
1) they get rid of the rediculous rear hatch window that allows everyone to see exactly what you have in the back
2) they reduce the heat from the sun that bakes the interior
3) they probably reduce weight, but I'm not sure on that one.
but certainly the fact they are a rare option could certainly raise the value of a well kept car. I have had a kickin system in my bird and after getting windows broken by thieves I have come to HATE the rear hatch window. Nothing got stolen due to alarm but windows are still not cheap. The notchback would have solved that problem.
Not saying it would look good on any third gen, because it wouldnt, but the factory models are nice and properly done ones look nice.
That's one of the fastest ways to ruin a million dollars worth of aerodynamic research by GM's engineers I've ever seen.
RIP Doug,You will always be remembered
