I know meguiars makes stuff like scatch x, and step 2 polish that will help to keep the swirls "hidden", but to get effective results your probally either gonna have to clay bar it, or find some new friends that have a wheel. I would say go out and buy yourself a good wheel, It is a purchase you won't regret, and can make you some money if you know how to use it.

clay bar will do nothing for swirls. My favorite swirl remover is actually a zaino product: ZPC fusion. its not a shelf product either though and it would take you a lot of elbow grease to get the swirls out without a buffer.
with my buffer though it erases swirls better than anything else ive ever used.-Joel

meguires works fine if used correctly. If you have heavy swirls, use a foam pad, and 3m finnesse it compound, you need a compound, not a wax, a light polish will work eventually but you'll have forearms like popeye first
