Don't worry Don. Old Minnie Mouse doesn't make enough power to break anything on the dyno, nor internally to oil things down. Two nice, quiet, civil, low rpm pulls and you'll never know she was up there.

No shirts, but that is a great idea!

I don't think Joel is, but I am not certain, either. He had it out on Woodward (up at Square Lake) on the day of the Cruise and it seems to be running well now. The throttle response of that Fitech is damn impressive.

You might be surprised. Mine is rated at 165HP way back in 1981 and put down 147 whp back in 2016, bone stock (aside from the pancake converter being replaced with a modern one, which no-doubt helped matters a lot). That's about 172 at the crank, assuming a 15% loss, since it is a manual car.

Not sure if i'll put it on the rollers though. Depends if i can get the PCV fixed in the morning or not, otherwise it'll probably be blowing oil out the seals in its 5 minute ascent to 4500 rpm in 4th

A few pics from the big day. I set the low bar (as expected). 170 factory rating at the crank, 140 was my optimistic estimate, I would not have been shocked by anything in the 130s. Came out at 144.
