I don't know if I'm in the Facebook group, but I'd like to do Dyno Day so that I can establish a baseline to work off of with upgrades. Is there still a possibility to pay? If so, how do I do it without being in the group? Also, is an appointment needed?

We added a second event which is public, so you could use that one, if you wanted.

Otherwise, absolutely the ability to pre-pay is still available: Just send $50 via PayPal to paypal@mifbody.com and you'll be good to go! That also would make you the 12th, so you would be confirming that the event will for sure happen, as well!

No appointment necessary - we'll be there from about 9AM until probably 3PM or so - just show up (Jake's Automotive in Sterling Heights - not the one in Auburn Hills) and you'll be able to have the car run on the dyno for two pulls!

Here's to hoping I get my Qjet rebuilt by then...

Half hour job. Just don?t use carb cleaner in the basement. Ask me how I know.

Ehh, I work slow, and I've also never rebuilt a carb - it's going to take me the entirety of the week.

I won't be in the basement, so I should be good...

...I'll be in the dining room.

Should be sunny and between 62 and 70 degrees on Saturday. Damn perfect.

Fantastic! Had to mow the lawn, so I'll be taking the carb off after dinner. Knowing me (and my schedule), definitely going to cut it close getting it rebuilt, reinstalled and dialed in...

Saw someone put me on a design review at 3:30PM tomorrow at work (I leave at 3PM)...I legitimately do not have the time to stay at work late, nor do I need to sit in even more traffic due to doing so.

How do they decide who goes first, who goes before someone else, etc? Is it based on when you arrive? If I can get it done early, I'd like to run mine (boring to others though it may be). It would be great to have a baseline. But I'd also like to be back to Golling in Lake Orion by 11am to register for their show. Strikes me as cutting it pretty close.

Yup - there will be a queue of vehicles - vehicles generally run in order, but if you gotta bounce super early, we can get ya in early. Obviously it's easiest just to get there right at (or before) 9, as there should not be many cars in line.

Thanks Kyle. Payment sent. I'm bringing what's left of my 170 stock horses, so make sure you secure any loose items of clothing, jewelry, hair pieces, etc. Wouldn't want them getting sucked down the TBI intake.

Sure hope you get that Q-jet done so we can have a battle of the 305s.
