registered a couple days ago, anyone know more about MIS, how many times can we go around the track?

Roger.....! you will be doing approx 8-10 laps total around the track, 4-5 times in a small group and then we ALL go out for another 4-5 laps!! Then you get your picture taken on the start/finish line! We will have full instructions in your ACCEPTANCE LETTER, sent to you in late May-early June!

HELLO!!!

Welcome to CAMARO SUPERFEST 2016!!
Registration has been open for just over one month and it’s time to report on our progress.
It’s a GREAT NEWS – not so good news situation.....

GREAT NEWS.... WOW... YIKES....!!! Registrations for our event have exploded!!! We are currently at or near 300!!!!! That is fantastic!! WOW!!! Our pre-registrations have never happened so fast and by so many. THANK-YOU!!! We have people from 14 states and 3 Canadian provinces!! (new records!!) We’ll get that First IN State listing up in the next few days. Once again, THANK-YOU for your support by pre-registering!!

Not-so-great news..... Because of this new and great registration success, we are very sorry to have to inform everyone that we have reached our limit for the Lansing Assembly plant tour. We knew this would be exciting and that many would attend... we just were not prepared for such an over-whelming success as it has turned out to be. So again, sorry, but there will be no more registrations available for the plant tour. There is NO LIMIT on how many can attend the MIS activity... or how many Camaros we can get in the park... so keep on registering for that and our event over-all!!

While this is not-so-great news... we do have a back-up plan!! We had not announced it yet, as it was to be part of the Plant Tour Rules that we will also be posting VERY soon.... but Ken and Kristen Lingenfelter have approached us, due to others calls/emails, and the Lingenfelter Collection will now be OPEN on Friday, July 1st from 1pm-4:30pm!! There is NO CHARGE for this extra activity. Those people getting on the first few plant tours will be able to stop by the collection on their way home from the plant. NOW... even if you did not sign-up for the plant tour, ALL are welcome to stop by the Collection!! A HUGE THANKS to Ken and Kristen!! This is why we love having them as an event co-sponsor!!

MORE news......!

Unfortunately... there is more not-so-good news..... Again, because of our monstrous success, our HQ Hotel, the Marriott at Eagle Crest, is now totally booked!! Between our event and a couple other groups, there are NO more rooms available to be booked!! Our new over-flow hotel is.....

Call the Regent direct to make reservations, tell them you are attending CAMARO SUPERFEST and you will get our group rate of $110 per night (plus taxes) They have 20 rooms blocked off and will add more as needed. You are still welcome to call the Marriott... you never know when a reservation will get cancelled and a room become available... it will be a lucky day for you if that happens!! Good Luck!!

Hello... we are almost at our show dates! Just over a month to go!! We hope you are as excited as we are!! All of the arrangements have been made, we’re ready to go! With that news... watch your emails and/or mailbox for your ACCEPTANCE LETTER!! PLEASE NOTE!!! – to participate at MIS on Thursday, June 30, you MUST BE PRE-REGISTERED!!! We will NOT do new registrations AT the track!! You can do a walk-in registration on Wednesday night and Thursday morning at the HQ hotel and still go to MIS. We will have a registration check-in at the track... in case you want to meet us there because it is easier for you, then coming to the HQ hotel first.

We’re sorry that we have not been able to keep-up with the number of Camaros by years, in our registration page. We will work on automating that for next year. From what I have seen as registrations pass through a check-in process... we do have many 6th gen Camaros attending! The 5th gen’s are a bit ahead of gens 1-4 in attendance, but as in usual CSF fashion, we will have a very nice mix of ALL Camaro years. Hence. Our CSF moniker of being “ the largest ALL Camaro event in the USA!” !!

HELLO!!! We are only 2.5 weeks away from our event - CAMARO SUPERFEST 2016!!

Your emails and comments on FaceBook, saying how excited you are to be attending has been a tremendous boost to all of the EMCC membership! We're excited to be your hosts!! Here are a few updates... feel free to share!!

ACCEPTANCE LETTERS... these are now up to date and all sent out!! Those without emails have been snail-mailed too. We are at 471 pre-registrations! WOW! Thank-you all for wanting to attend our event!

ON-LINE REGISTRATION... continues until Wednesday, June 22nd. Then it will be shut-down. Registration after that date will only be AT the HQ hotel or Riverside Park on Saturday/Sunday. REMINDER... there are NO onsite registrations AT MIS!! You must be pre-registered to attend the MIS activity!

AWARDS & T-SHIRTS... it's been on FaceBook for a few days, but here it is again... our T-shirt artwork for 2016!




Our artist has done another great job for our event design! We are doing something a bit different this year... the main design is on the back of our t-shirts, with the smaller design on the left front. We believe this to be a bit "classier" of a design for you!!

MIS LAPS... Let us remind those going to MIS to not forget those copies of your drivers license and proof of insurance. Those will be collected at the track. We have 239 Camaros registered to go!! (a new record!!) Don't forget a lunch, snacks and drinks... you will be there most of the day! And a full gas tank too!

LANSING TOUR... We are all set and Lansing Grand River Assembly is excited to be hosting this first-ever group tour! Please remember the rules!! (especially the NO phones/cameras!!) You can recheck the rules on our website. NEW... we have arranged for a food truck to be onsite from approx. 10am-2pm. With our 3 tiered leaving times, you may not have to bring a lunch, but now have the option of the food truck or stopping before/after.

We're almost there.....if you have any questions, it's best to send me an email and I'll get you an answer!

WOW... CSF UPDATE NEWS!!! Chevrolet is bringing three 2017 Camaros to CAMARO SUPERFEST... and 2 of them have not been on public display (to our knowledge!)!!
Join us at Camaro Superfest on Saturday to see..... 2017 ZL1 !! 2017 1LE !! and a 2017 50th anniversary edition Camaro!!
These great new Camaros will be on display on Saturday only along with Chevrolet folks handing out some great promotional materials!
