I'm glad I brought a coat instead - the sun went down and that temp dropped like a rock! I think I left Woodward at about 10:30 to drop my brother off at my mom's, and when I left to go back home (took Woodward) at about 11:30 it was almost vacant.Originally posted by mikewoods View Post

Yeah, they're sneaky. Not sure what was going on, but sitting down in front of the Laundromat just south of 14 Mile (the lot south of Oberweis ice cream), we first saw a cop nab a Subaru across the street for an awful long time, then saw them drive away and noticed - there now was a girl driving the Subaru, who wasn't driving it before, and boy did she look unhappy.
Shortly thereafter, we watched a Taurus ROPD car about go sideways turning down the side street right by us at speed, then an Explorer cop car. Then another. And another. And another. And another. I think we saw about 10-15 police cars turn down this side street! Finally, one of us went and peeked around the corner and saw them all sitting there on the street. One cop turned around and pulled up to the sidewalk and got out, walking towards us, but he wasn't interested in kicking us out (surprisingly), he just asked if we were causing trouble (we weren't) and then walked into the laundromat and was searching around things...no idea what was going on!Gone but not forgotten: 1986 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z
