Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!

This years MIfbody dyno day is set for Saturday June 13th, once again it will be held at Jake's Automotive in Sterling Heights and we encourage everyone and their friends to be there. The event starts at 9am and will go until we dyno every car. Last year we went through approximately 25 cars so the event should go past 3pm. The cost will be $50 a car for 2 pulls and a dyno graph. The dyno is an in ground dynojet chasis dyno for 2wd cars whether it be rwd or fwd. Like previous years @DetroitMuscle will be taking prepayment for the first 10 people. This can be done via my paypal address jsfarr@hotmail.com but please make sure you put "dyno day" in the subject and send Jeff all your info so he knows who the $ is coming from and add the 3.5% fee or you can gift the money if you feel comfortable doing so. Any questions or concerns will be addressed in this thread so feel free to post up.

I haven't decided if I'm going to run anything or not. Last time I ran my car, the converter would disobey the lock command, so I'm not sure about running it again. I may run the diesel, just to see what kind of torque figure it makes at the wheels.
Not sure, but now that I'm a 15-minute drive away, I'll definitely be there right at the start. So if I do run my car, that's less people that will be deafened.

Do they have a Tech-2 or Snap On tool? Apparently that's the only surefire way to lock my converter, the small module he had last time I ran wouldn't force it to lock, as it just disobeyed the command.

All right. Know what he was using before? It was a small little plug-in module that looked like it's what held the gear/converter. It would hold the gear, but it'd unlock the converter.

Hey everyone I know I've been away for a while now, just wanted to touch base and make you aware that I still exist and have also already received payment from one member (Jay Sarnovsky) thank you for that. I will try and poke my head in here every so often and help with questions.
