Just wanted to give WMFC members a heads-up on the plans for Monday July 4th, 2011.
We'll be attending the Grandville Fourth of July Parade again this year. The parade starts at 11:am and we need to arrive to the line-up 45 minutes ahead of that. So the plan is to meet at the Walgreen's on the corner of 44th St. and Ivan-Rest (just east of the RiverTown Mall) at 10:15am from there we'll cross over 44th St. to the parade line-up as a group.
The parade itself doesn't take long, maybe 45mins. This year they're giving an award for the best decorated entry....I think it'd be really cool if we could get a line-up of a Red, a White, and a Blue Firebird. Remember also that the parade organizers do not allow candy to be thrown from the vehicles so no candy is needed.
After the parade we have been invited over to Cat & Scott Browne's house for a pool party and BBQ.
WMFC members should've received an email with the Browne's address, and a sign up for the BBQ's "Dish to Pass".
If you plan to attend the Parade, BBQ, or both please vote in the poll (poll is "multiple choice" if you plan to attend both). This will give us a chance to get a general head count. Thanks!!
