Larry- I thought the same thing, "that's got to be one heck of a counter-balanced forklift to get those cars up there."........Turns out their lift has wheels, so they roll the lift over to the rack and push or drive the cars onto the shelf. Very interesting way to optimize storage space.West Michigan Pontiac Club

It's a '70 based on the front bumper having the turn signals in it, and the dual headlamps. In '71 the turn signals got relocated into the front fender extensions next to the single headlamp. The '72 is similiar to the '71 except the headlight buckets became part of the grille.Originally posted by bri2203 View PostI see a 70-72 chevelle! Looks like a nice shop!
I dunno if I would trust the cars on that shelving arrangement.
I think you would've liked it there Brian, they had about 6-7 different Chevelles all in different stages of restoration. We're going back in the summer sometime I can keep you posted if you'd like?
As for the shelving some of those cars have been up there for years without fail, so I guess it works for them.Last edited by 92conv; April 18th, 2011, 12:40 PM.West Michigan Pontiac Club

I yea I couldn't tell the year as the shell is the same from 70-72. What funny if people usually try to make their car look newer/updated and many people have converted there 71/72 to a 70 front end.Originally posted by 92conv View PostIt's a '70 based on the front bumper having the turn signals in it. Sounds good, My chevelle will need to get some exercise this summer.

Kinda figured you knew all that, just passing along "useless" information to the others. LOL .....................And yeah the shell is anybodies guess, turns out it's a '70 as well though.
I'll keep you posted as to when we're going back.West Michigan Pontiac Club
