  • WMFC breakfast b4 convoy to M&G

Some WMFC members have decided to meet at the same McDonalds as last year just off of M6 and 62nd Street for some breakfast before we head to Ionia for the Westside Convoy.

We'll be meeting around 7:45-8:00am to grap a quick bite, and then leaving there sharply at 8:15am to head to Ionia.

Anyone can join us if they want to, otherwise we'll see you all at Ionia. Can't wait, is it June yet?!?!?

Ill I am saying is it makes no sense to have two west side convoys. Why dont you guys meet up with everyone else at Ionia, or some other place?

While I missed last years Meet & Greet (wife was in the hospital), I believe all these smaller west side convoys do/did meet up with the main group in Ionia for the "big" convoy leaving at 9am from the Pilot Gas Station at the Ionia exit.

But, I agree, these several threads about the west side "pre-convoys", does make it sound a little confusing. I believe all will still meet up at the Ionia exit Pilot Station and go from there as a large group.

I'm just informing people of what's going on. And for some people it might be closer/easier to meet up with us versus driving all the way to Standale.

That's why it's titled "WMFC convoy" not "westside convoy". It reall isn't all that confusing.

Yep, that's all it is....Some of us WMFC members (not all of us) have chosen to meet up for a little breakfast before we head to Ionia. We're meeting at the McDonald's on M6 and 68th Ave at around 8am from there we'll head over to meet up with the real Westside convoy.

Robin was just being nice and offering anybody to join us. And I thank her for that, sorry it caused any confusion. I'll fix the title to try and minimize the confusion.

Yup, I figured that is what was going on, I was not confused, just trying to make it clear that everyone would ultimately meet up at the Pilot Station for the Big Convoy.

Cause the birds will be flying and the camaros won't be able to keep up...lol
