This is a seperate post: for safety reasons, I'm trying to make sure everyone gets the message.
Hi Everyone,
The weather in West Michigan is very bad. Blizzard conditions all along the Lake Shore and in through Kent County to the east. These conditions continue almost to the State line to the south. Police are advising everyone to stay in unless it's an emergency. White-out conditions are common and there are multi-car accidents all over.
All the malls in the Grand Rapids area are closing, as well as all the movie theatres! They have been closing the freeways off and on all day due to multiple car accidents. They are struggling to keep one lane open through downtown Grand Rapids. Things are continuing to close, as I write this. And the weather continues to get worse. Things do not sound much better for Sunday, so I think it's better to be safe, than sorry (or stuck in a snow bank!)
With so many members living out of town (from Grand Rapids) I don't want anyone to feel like they should take a chance to come to the Club meeting. So, stay home, be safe, and we'll see everyone at the March meeting!
