Nothing like thumbing through one of your old magazines and coming across a photo a someone you know; I think that's Doug in the middle.

This was in a 1989 Super Chevy magazine that I had saved because myself and a couple high school buddies went to the Martin show that year. When you really think about it, it's amazing how small the world is....That weekend Doug and I were probably no more than 100 yards from one another, but it wouldn't be until years later that he and I would come to know one another......Being a Northern Michigan boy back then I had no idea who/what WMCC even was.

Anyways thought some of you would enjoy the pic..........................

Wow -- and just to add to the small world scenario, I was probably at that same Super Chevy meet too, scrounging for parts for my brother's 1967 Camaro RS vert!

Very cool! And I hear you on the small world thing. Just met someone down here at Keesler that is in the same job as I am, enlisted a month after I did. Randomly started talking to him and he worked at 131 the past few years.

Don't worry about the cost, I'll try to get a good scanned copy of you. You might actually want the whole book though, there's more WMCC tidbits scattered throughout the Martin section of it.

Yes We still have it in a box somewhere out on my garage. Might have to go out and find it tonight just so I can post a pic of it.
