yer just jealous wade. actually that should be the last time i roll in there with that and my car should be there next week. i think we may have came up with something. since it never did it with the old jets and i took apart the whole carb. we may have put a gasket in that plugged something or by changing the jets and fixing my vacuum problem that its just not getting enough fuel with the amount of air once it becomes under load.

I just wondered if it was TOO much carb for the engine. My dad had an engine built for his 39 Chevy streetrod and he was told to put a 750 carb on it. It wound up being too much carb for it and if you stomped on it from a stand still it would pop and sputter and load up. If you eased into it it worked fine. He ended up swapping for a 600 or 650 can it could actually launch then and he never had that problem again.

well i did a check on holleys website and they rcommended liek a 770. so i don;t think the 750 is too big
