      HELL YES!
      What a great show
      Depot Town was a blast.
The park is an A1 site for a show.
The locals did everything to make us feel at home.
      The hotel was awesome.

I think we have a new home

      Great job everyone

Thanks to all the people that helped organize and help keep the event together. Along with all the great cars!
The shade was great! The Grass and the trees really helped with the music, announcements and the overall noise throughout the weekend. No more echo & Hot Pavement and great Photo setting!
                      Great music and anouncing ANN!

Myself and a few others included took the map that was for the Depot town cruise-in, but it just showed the "loop" it didn't show turning right into Depot town.. I almost passed right by it, thankfully the guy waved us in though... I was following what was drawn on that map handout that was in the registration room. Not a big deal, though, just something for next year if you guys do it at the same location.

My only real comment is to have what exactly the judges look for on the website. I had heard from other people that the judges wanted flairs and first aid kits, but I had scoured the site looking for it and didn't see any mention of it, so I assumed if anything it would be for the street class since (atleast to my understanding) street class was for the more engine modified Camaros. That type of thing would be nice to atleats let people know they need it.

Aside from those two little things, I honestly had a blast even in the rain (which was quite refreshing, in all honesty)
Yep...I guessed about the tool stuff and the fire ext is a must but, I had points taken off for not having a jack and spare...IN THE SHOW CLASS??? WTF??? (what spare works with 13" rotors and Baers?) Anyway, although we came home empty handed it was great meeting everyone...can't wait for next one when the car's all done!

P.S. I was asked to bring the car to Berger as a "featured car" for the 8/26 show. A great honor that I wouldn't miss except my son is playing his first varsity football game at EMU that day...NOTHING short of death will make me miss that! Hope to see you all again soon!

I really liked the event. The Cruise seemed a little disorganized, though. Not really so much as a cruise, as people just driving to Depot Town. My only real complaint was the hotel. Too expensive for alot of people. I had to stay somewhere else because the three days at the Marriott would have broke me. I'd really like to stay at the "official" hotel, but at that price it just wasn't possible.

That Hotel was awesome for the price. Beats the old Holiday Inn by far and it was cheaper. May I ask where you stayed and what you payed?

Actually Tammy said the new hotel was about $8 more a night than the old one was. The banquet and food definately kicked ass. Too bad she said there won't be a banquet next year!

THe Marriott was a nice hotel, and the price was a discount from what the Marriott usually charges, this I know. We stayed at the Lamp Post Inn - $50/night. It saved me around $100 over the Marriott.
