See I think the schedule would be to much for me, anytime I've read about it or heard about it, up at 5, drive all day, then clean the damn car, go to bed in the wee morning hours. The driving and talking to people and seeing the places and countryside as we go would be awesome, but it just seems like a gruelling daily schedule that I'd be so tired and exhausted it wouldn't be any fun. That's what's kept me from going.......

I did the first 2 stops in '01, and it was great.
Only thing that has kept me from going the whole way is $$$$$. It can be very expensive.

Carl Lins was on a plane with one of the organizers for Power tour, he knows where it is going next year!! Something about starting in Ohio, stopping in Michigan, and then heading west and stopping in Ark? He can tell you the whole story! But you can bet your a$$ the Kemps WILL be on next years tour! Going to Pennsylvania this year takes some of the bite out of taking the year off of the tour though. You WMCC people have a great time (I know you will), stay safe and we will see ya for Carlisle!

As angie said I spoke with a Representative of the HRPT while on the plane a couple of weeks ago. In our discussion and my curiosity of next years schedule we talked about The planning committe. what they are looking for is sites in the Ohio area.
Do to the long trip that is planned they may not start in N.J. but further north as they need to go through MI. The route is being planned to end in Arkansas. and will also include Walmart as a sponser.
They also have made changes for the better for the announcements and the awards during this years Tour.
Hope all have a safe trip and take pictures!

Well, we're in Macon, Georgia tonight. We spent a few hours on Thursday afternoon hanging out with Matt Murphy at his GMMG shop in Marrietta, Georgia. Jerry Noonan and his son Mike from New Jersey were there too. Then we went out for dinner with Josh Loudon. We should be in Florida and to the venue by Friday afternoon.
We ran through several nasty thunder storms the last two days. It's hot and muggy, but hopefully will ease up a bit once this weather system finally works it's way off the coast.
The cars are pretty dirty, discusting!
See everyone in a week, or so! Vroom, Vroom
RIP Doug,You will always be remembered
