02 Camaro clutch want to stay on the floor - 380hp

    Does anyone have any idea?

When I do high RPM (power) shifts the clutch pedal wants to stay on the floor.

    I changed the fluid.

I think I recall someone saying something about drilling a hole so more fluid flows but I can't remember.

    Thanks

A few things fixed this for me.

        - I zip-tied the clutch line to the body of the car rather than have it hang free which got it farther away from the longtube headers. The headers get hotter in the upper RPM's; hot headers produce enough heat to boil the clutch fluid, which leads to air bubbles in the fluid.

        - Did the drill mod to allow more clutch fluid to flow back and forth during upper RPM shifts. I also replaced the master cylinder at this point.

        - Replaced the clutch slave cylinder. This is what finally fixed my problems for good. Frequent fluid changes and the drill mod helped for a day or two, but the problem always came back. I've never had the pedal stick to the floor once since replacing that. Unfortunately it requires the most amount of work, but it's worth it in the end. I'd save this one for after you do the drill mod, but I'd bet money on this being your problem.
