  • anyone here near big rapids

so i just heard i got accepted into ferris in big rapids. since in transferring there from washtenaw community in ann arbor i don't know any "car people" over their. what i am asking are there any events over their mid-august and later, or any places (parking lots and such) "car people" like to meet up so i can meet people my age that enjoy cars. thanks for any suggestions.

I think there are a few people here from ferris - but certainly lots of west siders in your area.

Yep, I know we have some Ferris Bulldogs on here.

Have fun up there not much around the town, but the Ferris night life makes up for that!!

It may be worth the drive to Dog Dawgs but Tom (itsslow) will know more about that area.

thats going to confuse him more!! its located in Grandville just outside of Grand Rapids, we go there on friday and saturday nights during the summer to hang out and shoot the bull. Dawg dogs is just a hotdog joint that stays open for some food while we are all hanging out in the parking lot out front. During the nice weekends there is some reallly big turnouts there of various cars, we usually had about 10 or more of us from mifbody during some of the nice weekends.

there is a link to info on dawg dogs. As summer comes closer we usually have a post asking who is all going to meetup and when. That will let you know if anyone is going to be there the night you decide to go!
